With the school year coming to a close,

the brothers of AEB have thoughts of summer vacation and graduation to distract us from Finals Week. We also want to acknowledge the amazing woman we all know as Irene Wolf, Ph.D. for being the namesake of our pledge class and an outstanding member of APhiO. As some of you may know, Irene is an alumnus of the Zeta Kappa Chapter of Bowling Green University. Since she pledged in the fall of 1995, she has served as VP of Communications, Pledge master, and President of Zeta Kappa. In the spring of 1998, she was awarded a chapter Distinguished Service Key, a most prestigious award, for her exemplary contributions to ZK.

Irene was involved in extension efforts here at Ohio Northern University and The University of Akron, which gave our humble AEB chapter the incentive to grow. She is currently the Webmaster for Section 65 and an Advisor for Mu Upsilon at Washington and Jefferson. In Region V, she serves as the Communications and Historian Chair. Irene is also on the Leadership Development committee as the APO IMPACT Live Coordinator and is currently a SERVE apprentice. What, you may ask, does she do with her Ph.D.? Alongside her duties to APO, Irene works as an Adjunct Biology Professor at Pennsylvania State University and conducts research in Molecular Endocrinology at the University of Pittsburgh. She is a true renaissance woman, of whom our brothers and recent initiates could not be more proud.

As the semester comes to a close, please enjoy the nice weather and enjoy the company of your fellows!

In LFS,

Rachel Bulko, News Editor
