Section 56 Conference

This past weekend, the brothers of AEB chapter had a blast at the APO Sectionals Conference! Upon arrival at the Ohio State University, we looked forward to exploring the venue and meeting brothers from various other campuses. Most of the brothers couldn’t wait to enjoy the luxurious indoor pool at the university hotel!

While some brothers chose to complete LEADS courses, the majority of our AEB members chose to mingle with fellow brothers, make friendship bracelets and write cards for service members. This was similar to an event our little chapter held not too long ago, in which we wrote cards of love and support to members of the armed forces.

At the awards banquet on Saturday night, Alpha Epsilon Beta chapter was awarded the most spirited superlative and Chapter of the Year recognition. Our little corner of the APhiO brotherhood has made such amazing contributions this past year. All the brothers were utterly flattered to be honored for their efforts and, as is customary for AEB, we congratulated all the other chapters on their awards and recognitions!

On Sunday, before some of the brothers of AEB left the OSU campus, the wheelchair basketball tournament took place! AEB ended up taking the Section Cup after this incredibly fun, unconventional game as well as plenty of great ideas for hosting our own Sectionals conference. In the not-too-distant future, you may see the APhiO brothers of Ohio Northern University hosting some great Frisbee tournaments with brothers from various chapters.
