Big-Little Ceremony

Last night, Ohio Northern University’s Alpha Phi Omega chapter had their seasonal Big-Little ceremony. The candles glowed as much as the pledges’ faces when their new Big Brother Mentorsp introduced themselves. It was such a wonderful ceremony, with many family pictures following the formal proceedings and the Fellowship Circle. Our brother Jennifer Point had hand-painted three large letters Alpha, Phi and Omega which were lovingly used as enormous props in our Chapter photos. These letters will surely become a staple in future ceremonies!

As everyone made their rounds congratulating each other, gifts upon gifts were bestowed on our new littles. These included pin boxes, jewelry, decorative handmade Poke-balls and one especially beautiful wall plaque fashioned from a vintage vinyl record. Having an ever-growing chapter gives the brothers of AEB high hopes and great anticipation for the future. Who knows how much amazing service our littles will contribute to their country, community and chapter?
